12mm REX™ Shaft with E-Clip (Stainless Steel, 144mm Length)

12mm REX™ Shaft with E-Clip is a robust 144mm long, 12mm diameter shaft with a REX™ profile that provides reliable drive for large goBILDA® system components. The combination of a 12mm round and a hexagonal REX™ profile allows the shaft to be used for both precision drives and in standard round bearings.

The 12mm diameter provides clearance in the center of the 14mm diameter hole. Slots are included for an E-clip, which limits movement in one direction. When factory installed, the E-clip leaves 10mm of shaft for seating in the bearing. When installing the E-clip in an alternate position, 4 mm of clearance is left. The ends of the shaft are threaded with M4 threads, allowing it to be used as a stand or secured with screws.
