The 2317 Series Miter Gears are designed for small and precision applications, providing 1:1 power transmission at 90° thanks to their 45° tooth angle. This REX® pinion with an 8mm bore can be mated with any other 2317 series pinion, regardless of bore size.

For proper engagement, the rear of each pinion must be positioned 20mm from the center of the other pinion's shaft and their shafts must be at a 90° angle. Two M5 cap screws, spaced 120° apart on flat surfaces, securely lock the pinion to the shaft, preventing axial movement even under heavy loads.
