Worm: is made of stainless steel and is designed for the REX® 8 mm shaft, providing a secure, slip-free connection. The worm is 33 mm long, which allows it to be installed together with thrust and radial bearings in a 43 mm wide channel. Screws are not necessary if the worm is fixed in the structure, but can be used to prevent axial movement.
Worm gear: is made of brass and rotates 28 times slower than the worm. Equipped with a standard 16 mm goBILDA® pattern for selecting the output shaft diameter and profile. The output shaft does not rotate without the worm's input, which is a special feature of the worm gear.
