The kit consists of a small drive gear (14 teeth) and a large driven gear (28 teeth). This combination allows for a reduction gearing for increased torque or an overdrive gearing for maximum speed. The driven gear design allows for the installation of hubs up to 32 mm in diameter.
The gears are made of high-strength steel with a zinc coating, ensuring durability under heavy loads. The pinion gear with its 8mm REX seat ensures a secure fit on the shaft without the risk of slippage, while the hub gear easily integrates into the goBILDA system via standard hubs.

For mounting the hub gear, we recommend using Sonic Hubs if reverse mounting is required, or Hyper Hubs when using the 12mm REX output shaft. Using the REX profile throughout the drive system ensures maximum transmission reliability.
During installation, precise backlash adjustment is required to prevent premature wear. The use of metal gear grease is recommended to reduce noise and improve transmission efficiency.
