Building Set for Kids
Engage your students in exploration, problem-solving, coding, and engineering with this curriculum that provides them with challenging, modern learning opportunities. Students design, build, and program a LEGO® robot to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems and complete seasonally themed activities.
The FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge offers teachers and mentors a 12-lesson curriculum in which students explore STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and robotics and create innovative solutions to real-world problems related to the season's theme.
In the UNEARTHED® Challenge (official launch date: August 5, 2025), FIRST LEGO League teams will "dig" past and discover the future.
Immerse students in a curriculum of exploration, coding, and engineering that engages them in a range of rigorous and relevant learning experiences. Students will develop an innovative solution to a real-world problem and design, build, and code a LEGO® robot to solve themed, challenging missions.
FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge opens up new possibilities for children aged 10-16, inspiring them to create their own ideas, solve complex problems, and overcome obstacles, while allowing them to gain confidence in the correct use of their science, technology, engineering, and math (STEAM) knowledge and experience the joy of achieving their goals. Educational objectives are achieved through meaningful, playful learning. Participants master engineering design processes, collaborate, and develop essential teamwork skills. This track offers a starter kit based on the Game Reboot set. and a complete set, including the SPIKE Prime core and resource sets.
The program's goal is to inspire children to explore STEM (science, technology, engineering, programming, and mathematics) and engage in solving pressing global issues using their favorite toy – LEGO Education construction sets.
