FIRST® LEGO® League Discover includes all the learning materials teachers and facilitators need to run a series of 10 lessons that engage young learners in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) exploration through play. These lessons will help build confidence, a love of learning, and teamwork by tapping into children’s natural curiosity.

LEGO Education sets may seem confusing at first glance. But first impressions are deceiving. The unique LEGO Education sets combine traditional LEGO bricks with high-tech components—sensors, transmitters, resistors, motors, interactive microcomputers, and more. Explore all of this with specially filmed lessons. LEGO Education offers educational and developmental sets for children aged 2 to 18. These include small sets with "find a color" challenges and app-programmable sets that demonstrate solar energy, servomotors, or science experiments. LEGO Education sets include a wide variety of sets. Some are made from bricks, others feature various gears, and some even include motors and sensors. What unites them is not only the educational element, but also the quality of each piece. When you buy them, you can be confident that the pieces won't break while you're trying to build something, and that the devices will connect and last. This is all thanks to our partnership with LEGO, which tests every part at the factory and is constantly improving to bring fans even more joy. The FLL Discover program introduces preschoolers to the world of science and physics (ages 4-6)

When educators nurture these natural scientists, they build a bridge between the real world, STEM, language, and literacy.
What is FIRST LEGO League Discover?
FIRST LEGO League Discover – is a play-based introductory STEM program for teams of children aged 4-6 that ignites their natural curiosity and builds learning habits through hands-on activities in the classroom and at home using LEGO Duplo.
By completing the program, children are more confident, better prepared to face life's challenges, and have discovered the joy of learning.
How does it work?
Each year, teams of four around the world are assigned an exciting new Season Challenge related to a real-world problem. Throughout the season, children explore the problem and, using the season's exclusive Discovery set as a starting point, design their own solution using LEGO®. DUPLO.
Throughout the program, children learn to understand the tasks at hand and apply their newfound knowledge to problem-solving.
Throughout the program, teams engage with the FIRST Core Values, celebrating discovery and teamwork, all while having fun!
At the end of the program, teams present their solutions, share their experiences, achievements, knowledge, exciting ideas, and STEM skills at a vibrant celebration.
