NeveRest Classic 40 Gearmotor JST-VH-2

The NeveRest Classic 40 Gearmotor (JST-VH-2) (am-2964b) sets the FIRST standard for reliability in robotics. This motor combines a proven design with the convenience of modern connectivity.

Features and Specifications:

• Performance: The 40:1 gearbox provides a balanced combination of torque and speed suitable for most FTC robotic mechanisms and drives.
• Direct Connection: This version features a JST-VH-2 connector, allowing the motor to be connected directly to REV Robotics controllers without the need for additional adapters.
• Built-in Encoder: A Hall effect sensor is mounted on the back of the motor. With a 40:1 reduction ratio, the encoder delivers 280 pulses per revolution (PPR) of the output shaft, ensuring precise motion control.
• Shaft Geometry: The output shaft has a standard 6 mm diameter and a D-shaped profile, which ensures secure mounting of hubs and gears without slippage.

Important: The encoder cable is not included in the delivery. For connection to the REV controller, it is recommended to use the am-3926a cable.
