Description
NeveRest Orbital Gearmotor (263.7:1, ~25 RPM, Anderson Powerpole) (am-4608a) is the most powerful solution in the NeveRest Orbital line. With a 263.7:1 gear ratio, this drive generates tremendous torque, allowing the robot to lift significant loads and hold massive manipulators at very low RPMs (around 25 RPM).
Features & Specifications:
- Extreme Power: The 263.7:1 gear ratio provides the highest tractive effort in the series, which is critical for heavy hoists, aerial lifts, and high-leverage rotary assemblies.
- Anderson Powerpole Connectors: The power cable is equipped with 15-amp Anderson Powerpole connectors, which provide a reliable, durable connection that is resistant to high loads and vibrations.
- Planetary Design: The compact 37 mm gearbox is coaxial with the motor shaft, which provides high mechanical strength and efficient power transmission under load.
- D-Shaped Shaft: The standard 6mm shear shaft ensures precise torque transmission to the hubs and gears, eliminating slippage entirely.
- Highest encoder resolution: Thanks to the enormous reduction ratio, the output shaft resolution is 1845.9 pulses per revolution (7 motor PPR × 263.7). This allows for micron-level positioning of mechanisms.
- Compatibility: The motor is mounted using four M3 holes on a 28mm circle and is ideal for use with the PicoBox series (LEO, GEO, MEO models).
Important: The encoder cable is not included in the delivery and must be selected separately for your controller type.
