Robits Intermediate Mobility Kit

The Robits Intermediate Mobility Kit (am-5159a) is an expansion kit for the Robits Core Kit that takes your robot's mobility to the next level by introducing Mecanum wheels. This updated version of the kit includes everything you need to build a fully functional, self-propelled chassis.

The kit uses 4-inch Mecanum wheels on ball bearings for smooth rotation and bevel boxes, allowing you to assemble the drive in one of three configurations:

• Vertical Motors: The motors are mounted vertically inside the frame. This allows for flexibility in the longitudinal placement of the wheels and frees up space in the center of the robot.
• Between-Wheel Motors: The motors are located between the wheels and transmit torque via belts. This layout creates a large opening in the chassis for installing large mechanisms.
