Description
NeveRest Hex Gearmotor (19.2:1, ~344 RPM, 1 in. Shaft) (am-5550_0100_019) is the universal drive standard for the FIRST Tech Challenge. Its 344 RPM speed and strong torque make it a popular choice for building reliable and controllable chassis.
Model Features:
- Versatility: The 19.2:1 gear ratio is the sweet spot, providing enough speed to move quickly across the field and the power needed to overcome obstacles or push objects.
- Hex Shaft: The 1" long output shaft has a 3/8" Hex profile. This allows for high torque transmission without the use of keys and eliminates the risk of wheel slippage.
- Detachable Cable: The motor is equipped with a 12" detachable power cable with a JST-VH-2 connector that connects directly to the ports on the REV Control Hub.
- Built-in Encoder: The Hall Effect sensor generates 134.4 pulses per revolution of the output shaft (7 motor pulses * 19.2), which Allows for the implementation of precise autonomous algorithms.
- Reliable mounting: Mounting holes with M3 threads are located on a 28 mm circle, which fully complies with the Orbital standard.
Important: The encoder connection cable is not included in the delivery set and must be purchased separately.
