The support block consists of a precision high-carbon steel bearing pressed into a slim fiber-reinforced plastic housing. A unique design feature is that the bearing flange is flush with the rear surface of the housing. When mounting the block to a flat surface (such as a beam or channel wall), the bearing is completely clamped between the housing and the surface, eliminating any axial play.
The compact size and standard goBILDA 16 mm hole pattern make this block extremely versatile. Additional central holes with an 8 mm pitch allow for custom mounting arrangements. The block geometry is designed to provide a side-by-side shaft center-to-center distance of exactly 24 mm, making it ideal for creating gear or belt drives with a fixed center distance.

These blocks are the ideal solution for applications where low weight and a low profile are important, such as guide wheels or lightweight manipulators. Despite the use of plastic, fiber reinforcement provides the housing with high torsional rigidity.
During installation, it is recommended to use M4 low-head screws to maintain compactness. To avoid shaft distortion, when installing a pair of blocks on the same plane, it is advisable to first pass the shaft through them and only then tighten the mounting screws.
