MecanAM FTC Chassis (NeveRest Hex 14 to 1) with No Wheels

The MecanAM FTC Chassis (NeveRest Hex 14 to 1) with No Wheels is a highly mobile platform designed to provide omnidirectional movement. This configuration includes high-performance motors, but leaves the choice of wheels up to the team.

Features of this configuration:

• High-Speed Drive: NeveRest Hex motors with a 14:1 gear ratio provide high speed movement of the robot across the field.
• Ease of Integration: The hexagonal output shaft of the motors (Hex shaft) simplifies installation and improves torque transmission reliability.
• Maneuverability: When equipped with Mecanum wheels, the chassis allows for sideways movement and spinning in place, which is critical for effective maneuvering in the FIRST Tech Challenge.
• Compatibility: The frame is designed to use 4-inch Mecanum wheels in the BB (bearing) or HD (heavy-duty) series.

Note: Due to the design of this frame, access to the encoders on the Hex version of the motors may be limited. This chassis serves as an excellent base for creating a fast and maneuverable robot.
