Limelight 4 is a next-generation machine vision camera designed for high-precision and high-speed tasks in robotics competitions and projects. English: It combines professional hardware components and the flexibility to process images on both the embedded CPU and a powerful AI accelerator.

Key Features and Specifications:

• Dual Sensor System:
  • OV9281: Monochrome global shutter for clear capture of fast motion and accurate AprilTag detection.
  • IMX462 (kit, coming soon): Color back-illuminated (BSI) sensor for advanced computer vision applications.
• Universal Power Supply: Built-in Buck-Boost DC-DC converter with a wide input voltage range 3.3V - 24V (absolute maximum 35V). PoE support has been removed to improve power reliability.
• Built-in IMU: Gyroscope and accelerometer for improved MegaTag localization that takes into account camera tilt and movement.
• AI acceleration support: Slot for the Hailo-8 module (purchased separately) with 26 TOPS performance. Allows you to run:
  • YoloV8 object detection at 80 FPS.
  • CLIP Zero-Shot classification.
• CPU computing: Without Hailo-8, it is capable of MobileNet object detection at up to 20 FPS.

Important notes:

• The Hailo-8 module is not included and must be purchased separately (Hailo-8 Upgrade Kit is available).
• The device does not support Google Coral.

Best for: For FRC and FTC teams that require maximum speed, accuracy, and flexibility in computer vision systems for autonomous and teleoperation periods. The camera is ready to work out of the box, but has huge potential for upgrading from the Hailo-8.
