SR-GEARBOX-36-01-05 SWYFT Spike FTC Planetary Gearmotors - 5.18:1 Ratio is a SWYFT Spike series drive with a single-stage planetary gearbox and a gear ratio of 5.18:1. This model is designed for applications where the highest possible speed is required, but with a small increase in torque and reduced motor load compared to a direct coupled system.

Key Features and Specifications:

  • High Speed with Increased Torque: The 5.18:1 gear ratio provides a very high output speed of ~1158 rpm while increasing torque to ~7.61 kg·cm (at 6000 motor rpm).
  • Single-stage planetary gearset: Provides high efficiency, compact size, and minimal power loss, ideal for creating high-speed systems.
  • Versatility: Ideal for high-speed flywheel launch systems, very fast conveyors, cooling fans, and other applications where extreme speeds are required with little extra force.
  • Compatibility and Mounting: The housing is equipped with standard M4 and M3 mounting patterns for easy integration with REV and goBILDA components, as well as additional M4 holes for side mounting.
  • Output Shaft Flexibility: Comes standard with a 7mm hex socket. A 5mm adapter is available for use with REV Motion components.
