SR-GEARBOX-36-03-100 SWYFT Spike FTC Planetary Gearmotors - 100:1 Ratio is a high-torque drive from the SWYFT Spike series with a three-stage planetary gearbox and a gear ratio of 100:1. This option is ideally balanced for mechanisms that require significant force, but at the same time higher speeds than the most “slow-speed” models.
Key Features and Specifications:
- High Torque: The 100:1 gear ratio provides high power at the output shaft. The estimated output torque is ~147 kg·cm.
- Optimum Output Speed: At a nominal 6000 rpm of the motor, the output speed of the gearbox is about 60 rpm. This is suitable for powerful, but at the same time fairly fast actions: lifting an elevator, rotating a manipulator, operating a powerful intake.
- Three-stage planetary gear: Ensures reliability, efficiency and compactness, withstanding serious loads.
- Universal mount: The housing has M4 and M3 fastening patterns (compatible with REV and goBILDA) and additional M4 holes for side mounting.
- Flexible output shaft: A 7 mm hex socket is standard. A 5mm Allen adapter is available for compatibility with the REV Motion ecosystem.
- FTC Compatible: Officially approved for use in FIRST Tech Challenge competitions.
