The FIRST® LEGO® League Explore program includes 10 lessons for educators and facilitators. These lessons are designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of engineering by solving real-life problems.

It allows students to explore the basics of technical construction and coding, investigate pressing real-world issues, and find solutions. Guided by adult mentors, elementary school students use the LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 STEAM robotics platform to build and program moving models using special TEAM PACK sets.
The reusable LEGO Education SPIKE™ Essential Set is a hands-on STEM solution that utilizes a wide range of LEGO® elements and smart hardware together with the intuitive SPIKE™ app. Each set engages students in hands-on exploration of STEM concepts, delivers strong learning outcomes, develops STEM knowledge and practice, and fosters 21st-century skills.
