NeveRest Orbital Gearmotor (19.2:1, ~344 RPM, JST-VH-2) (am-3637b) is one of the most sought-after drives in FTC robotics. With an optimal balance between speed (344 RPM) and torque, this motor sets the standard for building reliable and maneuverable bases.
Features and Specifications:
- Versatile Gear Ratio: The 19.2:1 gear ratio provides excellent dynamics for moving the robot around the field, while maintaining sufficient power to overcome resistance.
- JST-VH-2 Connector: The power cable is equipped with a standard connector for direct connection to the REV Expansion Hub or Control Hub ports, simplifying installation and improving the reliability of connections in competition conditions.
- Planetary Gearbox: The coaxial design with a 37 mm diameter and a centrally located shaft ensures high mechanical efficiency and durability under load.
- D-Shaped Shaft (6 mm): The flat cut on the shaft ensures a rigid fixation of wheels, gears, and hubs, completely eliminating the risk of them spinning.
- Precise Encoder: The built-in Hall sensor delivers 134.4 pulses per revolution of the output shaft (7 motor PPR × 19.2), which is necessary for implementing precise autonomous motion and PID control.
- Compatibility: M3 mounting holes on a 28 mm circle allow for easy integration into the PicoBox ecosystem (LEO, GEO, MEO models).
Important: The encoder connection cable is not included in the delivery set and must be selected separately for your control system.
